About the Role

Working closely with Directors and Tax Associates, you will deliver mix of tax compliance and advisory services, with a focus on personal, partnership and trust tax and assist with advisory projects in line with your development in the role. The role includes a significant amount of client contact and will develop your ability to manage client relationships. Responsibilities will include:

· Preparing complex personal, trust and partnership tax returns,

· Review of tax returns prepared by junior staff,

· Liaising with clients and HMRC to deliver tax compliance services,

· Drafting client communications on both compliance and advisory work,

· Assisting other members of the wider firm with tax queries and training,

· Assisting in managing the delivery of project work.

· Other ad hoc work including involvement in P11D and ATED reporting.

About you

You will be studying or qualified in any of ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA and will have at least three years’ experience in a Personal or Mixed/OMB tax focused role. Previous experience with trust tax compliance is highly valued but not essential as training will be provided.

Importantly, you will be a confident, ambitious character who is driven to learn and progress in a career in tax practice. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude to problem solving.
